And they all lived happily ever after…

Hi.

You don’t know me.

You may think you do, but you don’t. In particular, you think you know me as Peter Pan.

This is not important.

What is important is that this evening, at about 9.30pm, I asked She to marry me.

She said yes.

That is all.

    CHAPTER 17

Peter rose and bowed to her, and She bowed to him from the bed.

    “Hullo,” he said.

    “Hullo,” said She.

“My name is Peter Pan,” he told her.

    “Yes, I know.”

“I came back for She,” he explained, “to take her to the Neverland.”

“Yes, I know,” She said, “I have been waiting for you.”

And of course, in the end, She and Peter Pan flew away together.

So MAZAL TOV, she & PP – a happy ending to a sad story, and don’t all of us need more of those? Especially taking place in Israel.

SHE, thanks for creating a great site and a fantastic forum for those of us still struggling to find our feisty, evasive, and elusive zivugs.

Not to burst anyone’s bubble, but I still don’t get it- was Peter in a coma, did he have amnesia, or shipped off to join the French Foreign Legion? How could he just dissappear after weeks of dating you, break your heart, then come back to your open arms? What’s to prevent him from flaking again? Please explain this to me, because as happy for you as I am I’m just not convinced that he’s a stand-up guy yet.

    SG,

You indicated in an earlier post that throwing a doubt into a relationship ends it for you. Not everyone is so black and white, some of us believe in forgiveness and bridging our differences.

    It lasts for a lifetime.

If you want to be happily married, you need to learn to forgive. Take it from someone who is, and had to learn.

There *is* no story. I mean, maybe after I figure out what exactly happened then I’d be able make a story of it.

But it’s all very simple; we met on the street by accident. Just stam. I was on my way home, he was just getting back from a shidduch.

    We spoke.

    And spoke.

    And didn’t part since.
